My review “Batman: Arkham Asylum” xbox 360 DEMO Game

Finally I tried the demo of Batman: Arkham Asylum & here’s my review.

Presentation is 8/10:
Dark environment as it should be & the surroundings of the island with dead trees & rainy night pretty much help making it look darker. But it lacks drama & life into it as the graphics were a bit unsatisfying.

Voice acting 7/10:
The Joker delivery voice was great & twisted as it should be though Batman’s voice did not give the same justice.

Controls 8.5/10:
The combat was so easy by just tapping the “x” button & watch the dark knight swings his way with every kick & punches to create combos; the other hand on stealth mode was a bit tricky to get used to & could not help to experience “trial & error” exercise but as soon as I mastered it, it was easy breezy & fun.

Gameplay 9/10:
Ever wanted to know how it feels to be Batman & how he takes down people by surprise? This game has a strong side on “stealth”. Just like Hitman games but with cool gadgets & combos in many ways for you to take down enemies. Its up to you how you take them on weather in far or close range. The detective vision helps you look at things that you can’t see in a normal vision (like gargoyles where you can hang up & transfer on place to the other until you get to a perfect sport to take down a goon with style in a stealthy way.

Wrap up overall 9/10:
The game will keep you interested in many ways. as you progress to the game & encounter familiar characters, you’ll get an indication that another biography of that character pops up & shows you their profiles. In addition to that, batman’s gadgets & stealthy combos will leave you a variety for you to choose how you will like to take them out. The first person view will help you aim a target in long range, but unfortunately the batterang won’t take them down & they will get up in a matter of seconds so you have to get there & take him down for good.

If the Dark Knight has many other gadgets & combos to provide on the full version, I would say this game will be a memorable one.

For new gamers who will play as the Dark Knight, it’s a very good stealthy game like (Assasin’s creed & Hitman). & for those diehard fans of the superhero like me, this is one good collection you don’t want to miss.

In the end I will buy this game for its gameplay & just to get connected to the characters of one of my favorite childhood superheroes.
